145 Halsey Condos
Brownstone Homes in Historic Bed-Stuy
Rooted in history.  Designed for today.
A unique beauty with a facade of brownstone, limestone, brick, and slate, set-off by a large bay window and mansard roof, 145 Halsey is thought to have been built by P.F. Emmet in 1892.   The first family to own 145 Halsey were Charles and Alice Perley.  By all historical accounts they were a fun-loving family involved in their community and invested in seeing Brooklyn prosper.  They were known for hosting well attended masquarade and euchre parties with dancing lasting into the early morning hours.  They were also avid cyclists and members of Brooklyn's first cycling club.

One hundred and fifteen years later, 145 Halsey has been restored.  We hope you will come add your story to its history.
